OILURY was founded on a simple belief: the closer an oil remains to its natural state, the more extraordinary it can be.
That belief influences every decision we make — from the ingredients we select and the way we press them to how we protect the finished oil and the materials we choose for our packaging.

We don’t believe
Botanical oils should be engineered around convenience.
We believe
They should be respected for what they naturally are.
Our approach
LESS INTERVENTION. MORE OF WHAT NATURE CREATED.
Our philosophy is simple: start with an exceptional botanical and interfere with it as little as possible.
We don’t try to make every harvest identical. We don’t process away the natural color, aroma or character of an oil simply to make it more standardized.
Nature created the ingredient.
Our responsibility is to preserve as much of its natural character as possible.
Freshness has a lifespan
FRESHNESS AND EXTENDED SHELF LIFE AREN’T FRIENDS.
Delicate botanical oils naturally change with time.
The very qualities we work so carefully to preserve are also why we refuse to design our oils around sitting on a shelf indefinitely.
Extended shelf life can come at a price. Processing such as refining, filtering and deodorizing can create a more standardized, shelf-stable oil — but that isn’t the philosophy behind OILURY.
We would rather protect freshness than process it away for convenience.

For us, small-batch production isn’t about sounding artisanal.
It’s about control.
We would rather press what we need, protect it properly and press again than produce enormous quantities designed to wait indefinitely for a customer.
It isn’t the fastest way.
It isn’t necessarily the easiest way.
It’s the way that makes sense when freshness comes first.

OILURY was established in California in 2019, and our surroundings continue to influence the way we think about botanicals, beauty and quality.
Whenever possible, we source ingredients grown in America, with a special connection to our California growers.
We value knowing where something came from, understanding how it was grown and, whenever possible, knowing the people behind it.

Our philosophy doesn’t stop with what’s inside.
We also think carefully about the materials surrounding our products and look for opportunities to make more considered choices without compromising the experience of the brand.
For our California Beauty collection, we chose boxes made from tree-free cotton paper — a beautiful premium material created without relying on trees for its paper fiber.
It reflects something we believe strongly:
